Business networking with a purpose

Welcome to Ibiza Professionals · IBZ PRO

Meet Ibiza's Professional Community

Ibiza Professionals is a regular networking event organised by Rotary eClub Ibiza International (ReCII).

We bring together business owners, entrepreneurs, freelancers and professionals from across Ibiza's local and international community.

Join us for a relaxed evening of conversation, new introductions, drinks and pica pica. English is our shared language, and you don't need to be a Rotary member to attend.

Discover Ibiza Professionals

Why Attend Ibiza Professionals?

Ibiza has a rather peculiar quality…

For a relatively small island, it can take a surprisingly long time to meet people. You can live and work here for years, only to discover that someone interesting has been practically around the corner all along!

Sound familiar?

It's one of the reasons Ibiza Professionals was created.

Our island has a thriving business community, from established local businesses to an international mix of entrepreneurs, professionals and independent workers.

Yet finding opportunities for those different circles to meet isn't always as easy as you might imagine.

Ibiza Professionals brings everyone together, with English as a shared language, in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where conversations and connections genuinely happen naturally.

What Makes the Evening Special?

A few good reasons to come along.

Meet People Beyond Your Usual Circle

Get to know people from different professions, businesses and backgrounds. You might be surprised by just how much is happening on your own doorstep.

Networking Without the Formality

Forget the stiff introductions and awkward networking rituals. Come along, enjoy a drink, have a conversation and get to know the people behind the businesses.

One Minute in the Spotlight!

One of the evening's highlights is our lively speed pitching.

Up to ten guests can volunteer for a one-minute introduction to their business, an idea or simply themselves. It's fun, fast-paced and a brilliant icebreaker!

Fancy having a go? Just put yourself forward when booking your ticket. Participation is entirely optional.

Where It All Began

Deborah Sass

The Original Idea Behind Ibiza Professionals

Ibiza Professionals began with an idea from Deborah Sass, a founding member of Rotary eClub Ibiza International and the club's Board Secretary during 2024–25.

Today, that idea is brought to life by a dedicated team working together behind the scenes to organise each event, welcome Ibiza's professional community and support local causes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you might want to know before joining us at Ibiza Professionals.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Ibiza Professionals is wonderfully relaxed when it comes to dress codes. Some of our guests work in offices, others on boats, beaches or in watersports, so there's certainly no expectation that everyone arrives in formal business attire.

Wear whatever makes you comfortable and reflects how you'd like to present yourself.

And if you're wondering just how relaxed things can get, here's photographic evidence that our regular MC has occasionally taken the dress code in a rather unexpected direction! 🎅😂

Do I need to be a Rotary member to attend?

Absolutely not! Ibiza Professionals is open to the wider business and professional community. You don't need to be a Rotarian, and you're very welcome whether you've lived on Ibiza for twenty years or arrived relatively recently.

What happens at an Ibiza Professionals event?

Think relaxed conversations, new introductions, drinks and pica pica, with plenty of opportunities to meet people from across the island's professional community.

There's also our popular one-minute speed pitching and an opportunity to learn about a local charity or association.

Do I have to take part in speed pitching?

Not at all! Speed pitching is completely voluntary.

Up to ten guests can put themselves forward to introduce their business, an idea or simply themselves, with just one minute each.

It's lively, entertaining and a fantastic icebreaker, but you're equally welcome to enjoy the evening without taking the microphone.

How do I apply for a speed-pitch place?

Simply indicate your interest when booking your ticket. There are up to ten places available at each event, so it's worth putting your name forward early.

Are the events conducted in English?

Yes. English is our shared language, helping bring together Ibiza's local and international business communities.

How often are Ibiza Professionals events held?

Our networking events take place approximately every two months, with a summer break to accommodate Ibiza's particularly busy summer season.

You'll find the next confirmed dates in our upcoming events section.

Do the events support local charities?

Yes! Each Ibiza Professionals event features a local charity or association, giving it an opportunity to introduce its work to the professional community.

The events also raise funds to support local charitable causes. You can discover some of the organisations we've supported in the section above.

Who organises Ibiza Professionals?

Ibiza Professionals is organised by Rotary eClub Ibiza International, with a dedicated team working behind the scenes to bring each event together.

You can meet the people involved in our organising-team section above.
